Manager, Solution Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Solution Engineers to deliver high-impact technical demos and discovery
• Partner with Sales leadership to align SE resources with pipeline priorities and deal strategy
• Own technical win strategy across the sales cycle, from discovery through technical close
• Coach the team to connect Storyblok's capabilities directly to customer business value
• Act as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering, feeding field insights into the roadmap
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new Solution Engineers
• Define and track team performance metrics
• Develop and maintain SE enablement content, demo environments, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Prior experience as a Solution Engineering Manager
• Experience with SaaS products in a technical pre-sales capacity
• AI literacy and ability to leverage AI tools for productivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMS, DXP, or web/content management platforms
• Background as an individual-contributor Solution Engineer or Sales Engineer
• Familiarity with modern web development concepts like APIs, JavaScript frameworks, and headless architecture
• Experience selling into enterprise or mid-market buyers
