Managing Consultant - Clinical Documentation Improvement

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within existing CDI offerings by identifying new opportunities and collaborating with the Sales Team
• Serve as a subject matter expert to support sales, craft proposals, and create scopes of work
• Contribute to thought leadership through webinars, white papers, and speaking engagements
• Guide clients through project status meetings and ensure deliverables align with goals
• Synthesize client input and complex data into actionable recommendations
• Mentor and train consulting staff on project deliverables, client communication, and data analysis
• Collaborate across service lines to identify and deliver innovative solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Subject matter expertise in CDI, UR, Denials Management, Value Based Care, and Risk Adjustment
• Solid knowledge of mid-revenue cycle operations and industry trends
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and articulate clear recommendations
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proven project management and client management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Active credential from AHIMA, AAPC, or ACDIS and/or RN or LPN
