Managing Director, Grants

Responsibilities

• Set vision, strategy, and plan for developing a shared grant writing service for the Field Fundraising cohort, incorporating input from Executive Directors and Development staff, with the goal of maximizing revenue to the organization as a whole
• Manage and write a set number of proposals, reports, letters of intent, and other grant-related deliverables for multiple regional development teams
• Provide strategy, consultation and technical assistance for the full Field Fundraising cohort
• Maintain donor, prospect, and fundraising activity information in our customer relationship management system (currently SalesForce)
• Steward team and organizational initiatives

Requirements

• Relationship Building and Management
• Fundraising and Development
• Grants Management
• 7+ years of related experience in development and grant writing
• Track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious goals as a fundraiser and grant writer

Preferred Qualifications

• Teach For America development experience
