Managing Security Consultant - Access Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery timelines, milestones, and deliverables across the Access Management engagement portfolio
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure proper project governance, status reporting, and risk management
• Provide technical oversight across multiple concurrent Access Management engagements
• Serve as the senior technical resource for complex challenges involving Ping Identity and Okta
• Review and approve solution architectures, integration designs, and implementation approaches
• Own resource allocation and staffing decisions for Access Management engagements
• Manage consultant utilization and identify skill gaps within the team
• Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery issues and client concerns
• Support presales efforts by providing technical validation of proposed solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management
• 3+ years in a delivery leadership or management capacity
• Strong technical background in Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingOne, PingAccess)
• Strong technical background in Okta (Identity Engine, Workflows, API Access Management)
• Deep understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect protocols
• Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements and delivery teams
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, or ForgeRock
• Professional certifications such as Ping Identity Certified Professional or Okta Certified Professional
• Security certifications like CISSP or CISM
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience in consulting or professional services delivery environments
