Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understanding of Trading Platforms: A comprehensive grasp of the nuances of trading platforms, including transactional data, trading algorithms, and the specific challenges posed by online trading environments.
• Financial Products Familiarity: Knowledge about products such as CFDs, stocks, and cryptocurrencies and their associated testing requirements.
• High-Performance Platforms: Awareness of the challenges and intricacies of testing high-performance systems, especially ones catering to real-time, high-volume data.
• Security in Testing: A profound understanding of security testing, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our platforms against potential threats.

Technical Skills

• Cross-Platform Testing: Advanced experience in testing on both Android and iOS platforms and web applications across various browsers.
• API Testing: Advanced experience in Rest and WS API testing, with proficiency in relevant API testing tools and practices.
• Troubleshooting Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing root causes of complex issues and suggesting remedies for both mobile and web applications.
• Test Case Expertise: Skilled in writing comprehensive test cases and executing extensive test plans for large-scale projects.
• Mobile-Specific Testing: Advanced knowledge of mobile-specific features such as push notifications, location services, and camera.
• Coding & Automation: Experience in scripting and test automation, familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Object-Oriented Principles: A strong grasp of OOP principles.
• Product Quality Passion: A documented history of ensuring and advocating for high-quality products.
• Continuous Improvement: Proven experience in identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing systems.

• Communication: Stellar verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly express complex testing scenarios and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentorship and Leadership: A penchant for guiding and leading junior team members, ensuring the team grows and delivers consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with any of Blockchain platforms, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Polkadot and Cosmos blockchain.
