Market Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and INTX.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, and product schedules.
• Lead frontline support for internal and external investigations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products and execute deployment testing in pre-production environments.
• Support onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors, including connectivity setup and issue triage.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen exchange operational reliability.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role.
• Demonstrated product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options.
• Hands-on experience with error trade analysis and resolution.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues across trading and clearing platforms.
• Experience managing support across multiple channels (voice, email, chat) under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol, SQL, or CRM tools such as Salesforce and JIRA.
