Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage mass tort cases and maintain strong client relationships through regular phone interviews and updates.
  • Order, review, and summarize medical records to prepare factual responses to discovery.
  • Draft and file legal documents including complaints, discovery responses, and other pleadings.
  • Manage case workflows within the electronic case management system and assist with the intake system.
  • Document all communications and events accurately and submit invoices according to firm policy.
  • Provide general assistance to attorneys and senior paralegals.

Requirements

  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of mass tort or personal injury paralegal experience.
  • Proven experience drafting and filing complaints and other pleadings.
  • Ability to review and summarize medical information with minimal supervision.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort with digital/paperless workflows.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Compassionate attitude and professional phone etiquette.
