Responsibilities

• Use proprietary software applications to provide input/labels on defined projects
• Support and ensure the delivery of high-quality curated data
• Collaborate with technical staff to support the training of new AI tasks
• Help improve the design of efficient annotation tools
• Solve complex problems in materials science to guide AI models and drive innovation
• Select specialized problems and provide detailed solutions to evaluate model responses
• Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on evolving instructions

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in materials science, physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a highly related field
• Expertise in a materials-related subdomain (e.g., energy materials, semiconductors, nanomaterials, metals, polymers, etc.)
• Proficiency in professional English reading and writing
• Strong ability to navigate information resources and databases
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities
• Ability to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced expertise demonstrated by multiple publications or patents
• Previous AI Tutoring experience
• Teaching experience as a professor, teacher, or tutor
• Experience in technical writing or professional journalism
