Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled live math lessons via the school's LMS using Zoom
• Use real-world problems, puzzles, and interactive digital tools like Desmos and GeoGebra to spark curiosity
• Adapt pacing across algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus
• Use LMS analytics to monitor engagement and provide actionable feedback
• Design individualized lessons to build problem-solving confidence
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and interventions
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to meet diverse student needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Education or Mathematics preferred)
• Experience teaching math at the middle or high school level
• Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, etc.)
• Strong command of English and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with digital tools like video conferencing and interactive math apps
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ability to work independently from a remote workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neurodivergent learners or gifted students
• Experience in inquiry-based or student-centered online instruction
