Maximo AI EAM Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead and support deployment of MAS 9.1 AI services (Maximo Assistant, Work Order Intelligence, FMEA Builder, embedded WatsonX LLM/ML).
• Configure MAS AI features to align with customer business rules, asset hierarchies and operating models.
• Design and implement AI-driven dashboards and KPI reporting using Cognos and DataMax AI; build predictive maintenance views and asset health intelligence.
• Ensure data readiness, integrity and alignment for AI models within Maximo (classifications, codes, data quality frameworks).
• Embed AI into maintenance planning, work order lifecycle, failure analysis, reliability engineering and asset lifecycle processes to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Identify high-value AI use cases and deliver 90-day transformation plans for customers, including pilot design, success metrics and rollout.
• Enable partners and clients: AI readiness assessments, architecture and rollout planning, training for end-users, planners, engineers and executives, and guidance for an AI Operating Model.
• Provide ongoing customer success support for UAE-based and global clients, including troubleshooting, governance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years Maximo/MAS experience, including MAS 8/9
• Deep knowledge of Maximo EAM modules (Work Management, Assets, Job Plans, PMs, Locations, Inventory)
• Hands-on with MAS 9.1 features (preferred)
• Experience with WatsonX or other LLM/ML platforms
• Experience with Cognos 11/12 and building AI dashboards
• Strong data architecture and data quality understanding
• Consulting experience and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to translate AI concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FMEA, RCA and reliability engineering
• Background in predictive maintenance or asset performance management
• Experience with Maximo upgrades, migrations or integrations
• Exposure to DataMax AI or similar intelligence layers
• Maximo or WatsonX certifications
