Job description

Responsibilities

  • Analyze mechanical and electromechanical components using finite element analysis (FEA) for static structural and dynamic loads
  • Perform solid and shell meshing analysis
  • Generate hand calculations to support design decisions
  • Lead or participate in design reviews and identify product risks
  • Estimate scope and duration of analysis projects
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Software Engineering disciplines
  • Compile and present engineering design and analysis documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of FEA, specifically using Femap with NX Nastran
  • Proficiency in CAD packages, preferably SolidWorks
  • Experience with drone equipment or analysis of composite structures
  • Ability to solve complex problems using engineering principles without supervision
