Mechanical Engineering Professor

Responsibilities

• Design and author rigorous single-option assessment questions in mechanical engineering specializations
• Translate advanced concepts from Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids into exam-quality content
• Develop detailed explanations and rationales for answer choices
• Review and validate the technical accuracy and pedagogical quality of AI-generated materials
• Collaborate asynchronously with subject matter experts and project coordinators
• Conduct quality checks and revisions based on project standards
• Maintain thorough records of assignments using digital workflow tools

Requirements

• PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering
• University-level teaching experience (professor, adjunct, lecturer, or TA)
• Expertise in Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids
• Experience authoring or reviewing graduate-level exams or coursework
• Ability to convert complex principles into clear written content
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
