Medical Assistant Program - Live Instructor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate two 1-hour live sessions weekly for 15 weeks
• Prepare independently for live sessions and develop/modify lecture decks
• Review key concepts and manage student Q&A during sessions
• Gamify learning using tools like Kahoot
• Respond to student messages requiring medical assisting expertise via email
• Monitor Canvas discussion boards and perform weekly assignment grading
• Apply subject matter expertise in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Healthcare Administration, and Clinical Communication
• Collaborate with Learning Experience teams and Instructional Designers to adjust content

Requirements

• Experience working as a CCMA or CMA in a clinical setting
• Experience training Clinical Medical Assisting online
• Minimum 5-10 years of total professional experience
• Proficiency with online teaching tools such as Canvas and Zoom
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent communication skills and student empathy
• Must live and work in the US
