Responsibilities

• Help college-level students in intro-to-advanced level medical coding and billing courses
• Foster learning independence using the Socratic Method
• Conduct online sessions via Upswing's virtual classroom
• Support students in developing critical thinking skills

Requirements

• Subject matter expertise or advanced knowledge in medical billing and coding
• Excellent academic grades in undergraduate or graduate school
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to receive payments via PayPal
• Reliable access to a computer and internet
• Must upload college transcripts with application

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in teaching methodology, instruction, or tutoring
• Ability to support additional subjects such as algebra, statistics, college writing, or biology
