Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide disease state awareness, product information, and pharmacoeconomic analyses to managed care organizations and payers
  • Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Present scientific product-related data in hospital, institutional, and academic settings
  • Serve as a liaison for unsolicited Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs)
  • Address unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare professionals
  • Support company-sponsored trials, clinical trial site recruitment, and Advisory Boards
  • Provide medical booth and session coverage at scientific/medical meetings
  • Align day-to-day activities with Medical Affairs strategic objectives

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a health-sciences related field (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 60–70%
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a virtual environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of previous MSL or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience in addiction medicine
  • Understanding of the managed care arena and pharmacoeconomic principles
