Member Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own clinician scheduling, appointment triage, and operational workflows for UK, South African, and US clinics
• Triage and respond to member queries via Intercom, Vira Member Zone inbox, Slack, and email
• Assist with clinical governance, compliance workflows, utilization tracking, US credentialing, and payer eligibility
• Support US Charting Audits and clinical safety meetings
• Identify operational pain points and partner with clinical, product, and operations teams to improve processes

Requirements

• 2+ years in clinical operations, virtual care, or healthcare member support
• Essential working knowledge of the US healthcare system (payer eligibility, credentialing, chart audits)
• Experience managing workflows, scheduling, and compliance in a healthcare or healthtech setting
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Strong prioritization skills across multiple timezones (UK, SA, US)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with digital platforms such as ClickUp, Slack, Intercom, Healthie, and JustCall
• Compassionate, empathetic, and professional approach to handling clinical and patient data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telehealth, digital health, or virtual care operations
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced scale-up environment
• Working knowledge of clinical safety and clinical governance reporting
• Multi-lingual capabilities (French, Spanish, Arabic, etc.)
