Description BlackStone eIT is seeking a talented Mendix Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining applications using the Mendix platform, contributing to various software projects aimed at enhancing business processes and user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions tailored to client needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using the Mendix platform, following best practices and industry standards
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional applications
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices
- Stay informed about Mendix platform updates and emerging technologies to enhance development capabilities
- Document application designs, development processes, and implementation procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on the Mendix platform
- Strong understanding of Mendix development principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies
