Microsoft Power Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Dataverse
• Create automation workflows using Power Automate to address enterprise needs
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Azure PaaS (Azure Functions), and Azure SQL Database
• Lead the full solution lifecycle from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment
• Serve as the Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide technical leadership
• Maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents and user guides
• Monitor performance, security, and usage of deployed solutions to ensure continuity of operations

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse)
• Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, or SQL
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-900, PL-400, or PL-600)
• Experience with Power BI dashboard development and Power Pages/Power Portals
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Fiddler, XRMToolBox, or Azure Data Factory
