Microsoft Security Engineer - Engagement Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coach technical delivery teams to ensure quality and alignment with client objectives
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, translating technical outcomes into business value
• Manage and resolve project escalations while balancing client satisfaction and scope
• Collaborate with Account Executives on pre-sales activities, proposals, and SOW creation
• Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of practice services
• Implement Zero Trust principles across cloud and hybrid environments using MFA and conditional access
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, KQL, or Terraform to optimize operations
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers and delivery teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of experience with Azure security suite (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, WAF, PIM)
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security integration
• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale Azure deployments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Deep knowledge of Azure services including Entra ID, Virtual Networks, and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, KQL, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or Microsoft Graph API
• Understanding of multi-cloud/hybrid architectures and Zero Trust principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Security Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• 10+ years of IT experience with 6+ years focused on Microsoft Azure architecture and security
