Mid-Level Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with and execute deployment of enterprise network infrastructure solutions
• Configure and support routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and VPN technologies
• Participate in network migrations, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure modernization projects
• Support staging, validation, and testing of customer solutions
• Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and production cutovers
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, and security issues
• Perform root cause analysis and assist with remediation planning
• Create and maintain implementation documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on network engineering or infrastructure support experience
• Experience supporting enterprise networking environments
• Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts
• Experience with routing and switching technologies
• Experience supporting wireless networking environments
• Exposure to firewall and VPN technologies
• Willingness to participate in after-hours maintenance activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Juniper
• Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and identity platforms
• Exposure to virtualization technologies like VMware
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE, or Aruba
• Experience in Professional Services or Managed Services environments
