Mid-Senior Mining Professionals

Responsibilities

• Lead or support safe, efficient delivery of mine and processing operations across site functions
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour and workplace requirements and maintain robust occupational safety and health practices
• Drive operational performance via production planning, KPI management, cost control and continuous improvement
• Provide technical input to mine planning, production optimisation, drill-and-blast performance and geotechnical/ground control where applicable
• Optimise processing performance (throughput, recovery, quality) through troubleshooting and process improvement
• Oversee maintenance and reliability strategies for mobile and fixed plant, including shutdown planning and asset performance improvement
• Manage contractors and service providers to ensure safe execution, quality delivery and adherence to schedule and budget
• Support project execution and operational readiness, including commissioning support and change management
• Develop teams through coaching, competency development and structured performance management
• Prepare clear operational reports for leadership, audits and governance requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
• 5–12+ years progressive mining or heavy industry experience
• Practical knowledge of UAE occupational safety and health expectations
• Experience in operations, technical services, planning, processing optimisation, maintenance/reliability, projects or HSE management
• Familiarity with CMMS/EAM (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and planning/scheduling tools
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• English proficiency (Arabic advantageous)
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior site leadership or superintendent experience in mining, quarrying or aggregates
• Demonstrated success improving processing throughput, recovery or asset reliability
• Experience with drill-and-blast optimisation and geotechnical controls where applicable
• Competence with data reporting tools (Excel, Power BI) and structured continuous improvement methodologies
