Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead mission systems architecture and integration for autonomous, MOSA-compliant tactical aircraft
  • Conduct trade studies for RF sensing, EO/IR, LIDAR, EW sensors and effectors, and communications/data links
  • Own mission systems hardware, software, and interface architectures through conceptual and preliminary design
  • Lead vendor engagement to assess state-of-the-art capabilities and integration maturity
  • Collaborate with customers to translate warfighter needs into mission systems requirements
  • Develop physics-based models to evaluate payload system performance and validate kill chain closure

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related science
  • Active and maintainable U.S. Top Secret security clearance
  • 5+ years experience in RF and/or EO/IR mission systems development and integration on tactical aircraft
  • Domain expertise in communications, sensors, and effectors such as Radar, EO/IR, RF, and EW
  • Physics-based modeling and analysis proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of current and next-generation sensing and effector systems
  • System trade and integration experience
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, COMSOL, or Ansys
  • Experience with EMCON modes and emissions/communication techniques
  • Advanced communications and sensing domain experience
  • Aircraft design and integration experience
