Responsibilities

  • Lead mission systems architecture and integration for autonomous, reconfigurable, and MOSA-compliant architectures
  • Conduct trade studies for RF sensing, multi-functional aperture integration, EO/IR, LIDAR, and EW sensors
  • Lead analytical and concept design trade studies for line-of-sight and beyond line-of-sight communications and data links
  • Manage vendor engagement to identify state-of-the-art mission system capabilities and assess technical maturity
  • Collaborate with Defense Systems and Engineering teams to evolve system requirements and hardware/software interfaces
  • Adapt or derive physics-based models to evaluate payload system performance
  • Translate warfighter needs into mission systems requirements through direct customer collaboration

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related science
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
  • Domain expertise in Radar, EO/IR, RF, or EW systems
  • Experience with physics-based modeling and analysis of system performance
  • 5+ years of experience in RF and/or EO/IR mission systems development and integration on tactical aircraft

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of next-generation sensing and effector systems
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, COMSOL, or Ansys
  • Experience with electromagnetic control (EMCON) modes and communication techniques
  • Advanced communications experience including secure LPx and tactical data links
  • Experience with aircraft design and integration
