Mobile Developer (React Native)

Responsibilities

• Build new features and improve performance for healthcare mobile applications used by doctors and patients
• Maintain existing codebases and perform long-term technical improvements
• Implement platform-specific integrations using native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) bridging when required
• Perform performance tuning, refactoring, and debugging of production issues
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to investigate issues, implement changes, and automate workflows
• Collaborate asynchronously with a remote team using GitHub, Slack, and documentation tools

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience working with production mobile applications
• Solid understanding of mobile app states, navigation, authentication, and networking
• Proficiency with data libraries like Apollo or React Query
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated code
• Strong asynchronous communication skills for a fully remote environment
• Ability to provide at least 4 hours of overlap with the core team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with native development using Swift or Kotlin
• Experience with camera functionality, file uploads, or native bridging (AVFoundation, CoreImage)
• Experience with Twilio, S3, or Sentry
• Experience in healthcare-related software development
• Advanced experience using AI coding tools for debugging, testing, or creating automated workflows
