Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop monitoring systems for the 'Dare to Care' regional programme, identifying gaps and opportunities
• Monitor programme results by collecting and analyzing data for established indicators
• Update performance measurement frameworks and maintain results-oriented databases
• Serve as focal point for baseline and endline surveys
• Provide technical support for annual progress reports and end-of-programme reports
• Build M&E capacity for partner organizations under the DTC regional programme
• Monitor the impact of regional social mobilization campaigns targeting youth
• Provide technical guidance and advice on M&E to the DTC programme team

Requirements

• Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, International Development, Gender/Women's Studies, or related field (or Bachelor's with 9 years experience)
• At least 7 years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation for international development
• Experience in M&E specifically for gender equality and women's empowerment programmes
• In-depth understanding of cultural nuances regarding gender norms in the Arab region
• Proven experience cooperating with government, private sector, and civil society stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the French language
• Previous experience working within the UN system
