Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate loan types
  • Review files for completeness, accuracy, and program applicability
  • Verify accuracy of system input and documentation including income, assets, credit reports, and appraisals
  • Follow up with clients for additional documentation or clarifications
  • Provide status updates to loan officers, borrowers, and agents
  • Coordinate submission to underwriting and satisfaction of closing/funding conditions
  • Review pre-audit HUD-1 to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies with title companies
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governmental standards and guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality of bank and customer information

Requirements

  • Post TRID knowledge
  • Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures
  • In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulations
  • Strong organization and detail orientation
  • Excellent communication and sales skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience processing conventional, VA, and FHA loans
  • Experience with Encompass
