Mortgage Process Specialist

About the Company

Vesta is rebuilding the mortgage LOS from the ground up. Our AI-augmented platform aims to transform the mortgage industry by creating a fully automated origination experience, moving away from antiquated manual processes.

Responsibilities

• Become a Vesta product expert and test all platform functionality
• Document test cases with high attention to detail
• Configure integrations and map data across platforms with the partner integrations team
• Create canonical documentation for loan fulfillment workflows and product nuances
• Coordinate with engineering, product, and partner teams regarding testing and integration status

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Experience navigating mortgage systems (operational or technical/IT side)
• High technical aptitude with ability to read API documentation and reason about data schemas
• Ability to analyze JSON/XML payloads
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
• Experience in pricing or secondary marketing (PPE configuration, lock desk, investor delivery, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Postman, basic SQL, or scripting for data validation
