Multigres Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Multigres Operator using Go to orchestrate distributed Postgres deployments
• Architect cloud deployment infrastructure for EKS and other Kubernetes platforms
• Manage storage and networking layers including CSI drivers and persistent volumes
• Develop internal deployment tooling and automation for provisioning and scaling clusters
• Build monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities to ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate with database engineers, SRE, and product teams

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go with experience building production-grade operators or controllers
• Deep Kubernetes expertise including internals and custom resources
• Experience with cloud-managed Kubernetes services like EKS, GKE, or AKS
• Knowledge of database deployment patterns, replication, and high availability
• Experience with cloud-native IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Understanding of distributed systems and consensus protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CSI storage drivers and storage orchestration
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Cilium or Istio
• Prior work with sharded query serving systems like Vitess
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
