Responsibilities

• Design and assemble illustrations for static or animated use
• Design infographics and data visualizations for learning material
• Develop interactive designs, interfaces, and animations
• Create and utilize templates for presentations, documents, and email collaterals
• Design motion graphic elements, including video branding and kinetic typography
• Storyboard and animate 2D vector graphics and character animations
• Edit video and audio footage into engaging learning material
• Re-brand existing graphics, videos, and animations
• Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure consistency
• Perform quality control checks on own and team work
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-year diploma in multimedia design, graphic design, animation, or motion design
• 3-5 years of agency or in-house studio experience
• Strong multimedia portfolio covering digital design, animation, video, and interactive mediums
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
• Experience or willingness to learn Rive for interactive design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the EdTech industry
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of AI-gen tools and AI-augmented creative workflows
• Experience creating content for pan-African audiences
