Job description
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business with assigned pharmaceutical and biotech organizations
- Execute discovery and validation meetings to uncover high-value use cases
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles through contract close
- Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events
- Maintain precise opportunity tracking and forecasting in Salesforce and Salesloft
- Serve as the voice of the customer to Product, Marketing, and Delivery teams
- Represent Genomenon at conferences and industry events
- Partner with Field Application Scientists to scope and deliver pilot projects
- Develop and execute account plans and quarterly objectives
Requirements
- Genetic Counselor credential or equivalent scientific background in genomics or precision medicine
- 5+ years of experience selling software, data, or RWE solutions into pharmaceutical companies
- Proven success driving genomic data sales to Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, or Diagnostic teams
- Expertise in long-cycle, consultative enterprise sales
- Ability to translate complex scientific and data concepts into business value
- Disciplined approach to territory management and forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level credibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Medical Affairs or Evidence Generation teams
- Familiarity with clinical data sources such as registries and published literature
- Comfort with AI/ML concepts and bioinformatics workflows
