Job description
Responsibilities
- Own the account and deliver sales, spending and distribution targets
- Develop and execute joint business plans (JBPs) in partnership with merchants
- Lead forecasting, promotional planning, and trade spend management
- Identify and pursue new distribution and merchandising opportunities
- Leverage data and insights to analyze performance and recommend actions
- Build strong relationships with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams
- Collaborate with the digital team to drive eCommerce growth
- Execute pricing, promotion, and trade strategies
- Partner with internal operations to ensure on-time, in-full delivery
- Monitor competitive activity and provide strategic insights
- Represent the company at line reviews and trade shows
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of CPG sales experience
- 3+ years managing key national accounts
- Experience working with IRI/Nielsen
- Experience with Tableau and retailer portal systems
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, and strategic planning skills
- Proven track record of growing branded business within retail partners
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of pet sales experience
- Passion for pets and the pet industry
