Job description
Responsibilities
- Execute regional sales strategies to maximize volume and drive profitable growth
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for distributors, installers, and battery partners
- Develop and deliver high-impact sales and training presentations to stakeholders
- Communicate the ConnectDER value proposition to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Marketing on product demonstrations and industry events
- Monitor business trends to accurately forecast sales volumes
Requirements
- 3-5 years of solar market experience, preferably in channel sales
- Technical understanding of the electrical grid and solar PV installation
- Expert knowledge of the Northeast solar/clean energy market
- Proven experience building and implementing sales plans
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the sales territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience training and presenting to various audience sizes
