Job description

Responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales strategies to maximize volume and drive profitable growth
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for distributors, installers, and battery partners
  • Develop and deliver high-impact sales and training presentations to stakeholders
  • Communicate the ConnectDER value proposition to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Marketing on product demonstrations and industry events
  • Monitor business trends to accurately forecast sales volumes

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of solar market experience, preferably in channel sales
  • Technical understanding of the electrical grid and solar PV installation
  • Expert knowledge of the Northeast solar/clean energy market
  • Proven experience building and implementing sales plans
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the sales territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience training and presenting to various audience sizes
