Norwegian-English Remote Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Norwegian-English interpretation for OPI and VRI calls in healthcare and medical settings
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Maintain professional conduct according to interpreter standards and dress code for video calls
• Take detailed notes during calls and apply industry-specific medical vocabulary
• Complete internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leaders and coordinate with support staff

Requirements

• Professional interpretation certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology
• High tolerance and accuracy under pressure with fast information processing
• Dedicated wired internet connection (20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload minimum)
• Windows 10+ computer with dual-core 2GHz processor and 8GB RAM minimum
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth)
• Power adapter plugged in with computer set to "High Performance" mode
