Nurse Informatician IT II

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection and analysis of data relevant to nursing care
• Vet proposed workflows with leadership and nursing committees
• Implement clinical tools to ensure efficient workflows and continuous improvement
• Act as a content expert for nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, and planning
• Bridge communication between IT staff and clinical staff regarding system limitations and informatics needs
• Mentor nursing staff through EMR implementations and updates
• Lead small-scale HIT projects independently
• Recommend system enhancements to support clinical end users

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Pennsylvania
