Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Assess and sign breast pump prescriptions for patients
• Conduct professional services consultations via telehealth
• Review patient intake forms and complete clinical documentation
• Communicate with patients via electronic medical record systems and virtual video platforms
• Ensure patient care is evidence-based and aligns with maternal health program requirements

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, or Texas
• 3 years of direct clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of clinical workflows, HIPAA, and EHR data management
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Active MMIS (State Medicaid) credentials in relevant states
• Professional certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)
