Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management
  • Prescribe, titrate, and monitor psychotropic medications including antidepressants and mood stabilizers
  • Partner with therapists, MDs, and clinical leaders to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Support high-risk patients through consultation and collaboration with clinical leads
  • Provide mental health case consultation and clinical education to the broader team
  • Support quality improvement, policy development, and documentation standards
  • Facilitate referrals to social services and higher levels of care

Requirements

  • Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active, unrestricted licensure in California and Arizona
  • 3+ years of post-graduate psychiatric or mental health clinical experience
  • Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management
  • Proficiency in prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
  • Comfort working in a virtual-first, technology-enabled environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in women’s health, integrated care, or primary care models
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, postpartum mental health, or LGBTQ+ care
  • Familiarity with mental health referrals and social service resources in Tia markets
  • Prior virtual care experience or experience working with major payers
