Occupational Health Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze occupational health, workers compensation, and workplace safety compliance requirements
• Coordinate immunizations, drug screens, and fit-for-duty documentation
• Support workers compensation workflows including claim intake and return-to-work coordination
• Maintain confidential employee health and compliance documentation in accordance with HIPAA/PHI/PII standards
• Prepare audit-ready reports, trackers, and dashboards
• Partner with HR, Risk, Legal, and Benefits teams to resolve process gaps
• Recommend workflow improvements and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field
• Two or more years of experience in HR compliance, occupational health, or workers compensation coordination
• Experience handling confidential employee and health documentation in a regulated environment
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Workday, Microsoft 365, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA documentation and TPA/vendor coordination
• Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or COHN
• Experience using Power BI or SharePoint
