Job description

Responsibilities

  • Use proprietary tools to label and evaluate data
  • Support and ensure the delivery of high-quality curated data
  • Work with engineers to refine tasks, tools, and workflows
  • Design, select, and refine tasks grounded in real-world occupational math (e.g., insurance, logistics, skilled trades, finance, accounting, or health data)
  • Provide detailed, step-by-step solutions and evaluate model responses for correctness, clarity, and adherence to domain rules
  • Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on given instructions

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.) OR a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional experience in a math-heavy domain
  • Professional licensure or certification in a skilled trade (e.g., licensed surveyor, master electrician) with math expertise
  • Strong proficiency in applied mathematics (probability, statistics, financial math, or optimization)
  • Proficiency in reading and writing professional English
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities
  • Ability to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CPA, or Six Sigma
  • Prior experience in asset management, banking, insurance, logistics, or healthcare analytics
  • Previous AI Tutoring experience or experience teaching applied math
  • Experience building complex spreadsheets, financial models, or technical drawings
