Okta IAM Integration Engineer

EverOps is the premier Embedded Service Provider, partnering directly with customer engineering and operations teams to help them assess and address a variety of delivery and service related issues within their IT, Networking, and Infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure SAML 2.0 and OIDC SSO integrations end-to-end
• Set up SCIM 2.0 provisioning and implement group-based Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Okta
• Create and synchronize target groups utilizing the internal IAM portal
• Deploy Okta application configurations via Terraform within a shared Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repository
• Manage ongoing daily access operations, including provisioning/deprovisioning lifecycles
• Author, present, and execute Change Advisory Board (CAB) tickets for all production-level modifications

Requirements

• 2–4 years of dedicated Okta administration experience
• Deep practical configuration experience with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols
• Experience managing a high-volume ticket queue
• Exceptional communication skills for translating complex IAM architecture to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience operating within a structured CAB / change management framework

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform (specifically the Okta provider)
• Prior exposure to Terraform-managed Okta environments
• Experience working within fast-paced SaaS companies or startup environments
• Ability to learn and adapt to proprietary internal IAM platforms
