Responsibilities

• Research and explain real-world incidents, failures, and safety-related events using primary and secondary sources
• Structure complex information into clear, coherent long-form narratives
• Edit and develop scripts in close collaboration with the editorial and research team
• Appear on camera as the explainer of the research, guiding viewers through the story
• Work with producers to refine story structure, pacing, and tone
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts for technical validation

Requirements

• Strong research and writing skills with experience in long-form or investigative content
• Experience in video journalism, documentary production, or factual storytelling
• Proven ability to turn complex information into engaging narratives
• Confident and natural on camera
• Excellent editorial judgement regarding sensitive topics
• Fluent spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or strong interest in engineering, science, aviation, geology, or physics
• Experience explaining complex systems or scientific topics to a general audience
• Interest in accident investigation, safety, or human factors
