Onboarding Analyst - Institutional

Responsibilities

• Safeguard Ebury and clients from financial crime risks including money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery, and sanctions
• Perform anti-financial crime checks and CDD/EDD for corporate clients in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct analysis of complex ownership structures, financial statements, and transaction patterns
• Maintain direct contact with clients to present onboarding requirements clearly
• Identify red flags and escalate financial crime risks to Compliance and Senior Management
• Make risk-based decisions to onboard or reject applications
• Manage a personal portfolio of onboarding cases and document files in a structured format
• Support ad-hoc projects, training delivery, and validation of team checks

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting CDD and EDD with corporate clients, Trusts, and Funds
• Business fluency in written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of financial crime typologies and red flags in the payments and FX space
• Understanding of CDD for complex entities like Funds and Limited Partnerships
• Strong communication skills for interacting with the Front Office and clients
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
