Online ESL Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide online ESL training to Japanese learners using specialized methods and materials
• Prepare and study teaching materials prior to lesson commencement
• Provide corrective feedback to students during lessons
• Create detailed lesson memos at the conclusion of each session

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or graduate of any 4-year course (undergraduates with ESL experience or current college students are welcome to apply)
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for teaching
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 21 hours per week
• Dual-core processor (1GHz or above, Intel Core i3/i5/i7 or AMD equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 2GB RAM (4GB recommended) and 60GB free hard disk space
• Noise-cancelling headset and a high-definition webcam
• Minimum 3 Mbps wired DSL internet connection (wireless or signal-based connections are not permitted)

Preferred Qualifications

• English teaching certifications such as LET, TEYL, TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA
• Experience teaching Japanese learners, IELTS, Writing, TOEFL, or TOEIC
