Online Part-time Elementary Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to Japanese elementary school students in Japanese using proprietary textbooks and company apps
• Prepare and optimize courses by creating lesson plans and practicing sessions
• Improve courses based on student feedback
• Provide individualized instruction and special support based on students' academic abilities and personalities
• Evaluate student progress through regular homework checks, tests, and exams
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student learning status

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a prestigious Japanese university (Bachelor's or Master's)
• STEM major with excellence in mathematics
• Strong interest in the education industry and a love for working with children
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students and parents
• Native Japanese speaker

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching elementary school mathematics (school, organization, or private)
• Basic communication skills in English or Chinese
• Energetic, sociable personality with good presence on camera
