Operational Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• ERMF & Governance:

  • Assist in the development of risk policies and procedures; prepare risk training materials
  • Support effective risk governance across the firm, including establishing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and supporting Board Committee reporting
  • Guide and assist Risk Champions/Risk Owners in the first line of defense and collate Business Units’ risk reports

• Country Risk Management (CRM):

  • Consolidate regional incidents; perform trending analysis and thematic reviews
  • Assist regional teams with establishing key risk indicators in accordance with the firm’s risk governance framework
  • Support the central risk team in maintaining oversight of regional teams

• Product Risk Management (PRM):

  • Support product risk assessments and conduct risk/control assessments on crypto product exposures
  • Validate controls identified during product risk assessment; ensure timely implementation of remedial actions
  • Perform risk assessments on new products and services

• Functional Risk Management (FRM):

  • Oversee the outsourcing framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (including intra-group and third-party providers)
  • Collaborate with Vendor Owners, Legal, Procurement, Compliance, and Group teams to establish strong controls and protections
  • Support establishment and maintenance of KRIs across all risk pillars (global and regional)
  • Help the central risk team maintain ongoing oversight of all risk pillars

• Other Activities:

  • Support operational risk team initiatives (Third Party Risk, Incident Management, Business Continuity Planning)
  • Prepare Risk Dashboards and management reports
  • Execute ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (preferred)
• 8+ years’ experience in financial services, operational risk, audit, advisory, or product management
• Experience with database management systems, governance/risk/compliance (GRC) tools preferred
• Proven project management skills; ability to handle concurrent, time-sensitive initiatives and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-disciplined, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
