Operations Data Analytics Associate

Responsibilities

• Own insight generation and follow-up for a major business unit, serving as the primary contact for Senior Managers and Associate Directors
• Analyze large datasets to support business teams in making informed, data-driven decisions
• Translate complex data into compelling stories and presentations for non-technical colleagues
• Identify requirements to enhance and evolve essential operational and analytical dashboards
• Create models and tools to identify and remove healthcare inefficiencies
• Collaborate across the organization to monitor the impact of strategic initiatives

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports
• 2+ years of experience working with large datasets and distilling analyses into structured insights
• 2+ years of experience in SQL, including filtering, aggregating, and building CTEs
• 2+ years of experience building robust data models
• 1+ years of proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (VLookup, nested IF statements, etc.)
• 1+ years of experience developing dashboards with Looker or other BI/data visualization tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Python or R
• 2+ years of experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
• Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, or population health
• Experience building data models in dbt or reports in Looker Studio Pro
• Familiarity with Git workflows
