Job description

Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and manage core payment operations and KPIs, including acceptance rates, performance, conversion, and cost.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive fraud prevention and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor business and process metrics to identify solutions and deliver improvements to core payment performance.
  • Lead and motivate a global team of payment specialists, ensuring deep technical and customer knowledge.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve local challenges and enhance customer experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with network partners to resolve production issues.
  • Manage changing payment landscapes, industry trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of global payment systems and region-specific rules and regulations.
  • Proven experience in fraud, risk, KYC, investigation, and risk management.
  • Expert experience in managing, leading, and building large, diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach to operational improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous payment operations experience within the tech, fintech, or gaming industries.
  • Deep understanding of compliance and risk awareness in a global context.
