Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational workflows to ensure seamless execution of financial services.
• Develop and implement procedures to align with local and regional regulatory requirements (e.g., SCA, DFSA, CMA, CBB).
• Ensure operational compliance with AML, KYC, and internal risk frameworks.
• Lead and manage cross-functional operations teams; oversee staff onboarding, training, and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes to enhance service delivery and cost-efficiency.
• Coordinate with finance, compliance, IT, and external vendors to resolve issues and implement new solutions.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Support expansion initiatives across the GCC and broader MENA region.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations within financial services in the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of regional regulatory bodies and frameworks (e.g., DFSA, ADGM, SAMA, CMA, CBB).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or certifications such as CAMS, CFA are an advantage).
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency with operational systems and tools (CRM, ERP, digital workflow platforms).
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
• Culturally aware with the ability to navigate multi-national, diverse work environments.
