Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java optimized for OCI
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager
• Deploy and manage microservices using Docker and OCI Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE)
• Build and manage event-driven architectures leveraging OCI Streaming or Apache Kafka
• Design high-performance, low-latency, and high-availability systems
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gradle/Maven, BitBucket, and Ansible
• Implement proactive monitoring and ensure data encryption (PKI, TLS, HTTPS)

Requirements

• Mandatory current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification
• Extensive experience in public cloud environments and OCI services
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python, and shell scripting
• Strong background in microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in media or financial services industries
• Experience migrating enterprise workloads from on-prem or other cloud providers (GCP/AWS) to OCI
