Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and manage Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS) on WebLogic Server in UAE environments (Dubai-based, hybrid).
  • Develop, deploy and maintain SIP Servlets and converged communication applications.
  • Integrate OCCAS with third-party systems and APIs (REST/SOAP) to enable advanced voice services such as call branding, caller ID verification, spam detection and deepfake/voice analysis.
  • Design and implement call-flow solutions for call branding, spam-filtering and caller verification.
  • Integrate AI/ML voice models (e.g., deepfake detection) into real-time call flows for fraud prevention.
  • Perform performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging of OCCAS and related components.
  • Implement HA, load-balancing and disaster recovery practices for OCCAS deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues and produce technical documentation for configurations and deployments.
  • Stay current with Oracle Communications technologies and telecom standards relevant to deployments in the UAE.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Communications products, specifically OCCAS.
  • Experience installing, configuring and deploying OCCAS on WebLogic.
  • Strong Java / J2EE development skills and experience with the SIP Servlet API.
  • Solid knowledge of SIP, RTP and Diameter protocols.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with REST/SOAP interfaces.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration for voice analysis and fraud prevention.
  • Experience with Oracle DB and SQL.
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IMS, VoLTE and RCS architectures.
  • Experience with AI/ML voice platforms and vendors.
  • Oracle certifications related to communications or middleware.
  • Experience implementing HA, load-balancing and DR for telecom application servers.
  • Previous exposure to telecom operator environments or carrier-grade deployments.
