Job description
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to newly issued customers to welcome them and ensure policy accuracy
- Manage inbound calls to assist policyholders and determine necessary actions
- Utilize CRM systems to collect initial premiums via credit card or bank draft to activate policies
- Warm up internet-generated leads to prepare potential customers for the Sales Team
- Explain policy benefits clearly and complete necessary administrative paperwork
- Assist with correspondence, error corrections, and special campaign projects for sister companies
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a professional environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated mathematical abilities and excellent number recognition
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle high-stress situations with professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed in Life, Accident, and Health Insurance
- Previous experience in life and health insurance or insurance operations
- Background in telecommunications or office administration
- Some college education
