Outbound Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to newly issued customers to welcome them and ensure policy accuracy
• Manage inbound calls to assist policyholders and determine necessary actions
• Utilize CRM systems to collect initial premiums via credit card or bank draft to activate policies
• Warm up internet-generated leads to prepare potential customers for the Sales Team
• Explain policy benefits clearly and complete necessary administrative paperwork
• Assist with correspondence, error corrections, and special campaign projects for sister companies

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a professional environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated mathematical abilities and excellent number recognition
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle high-stress situations with professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed in Life, Accident, and Health Insurance
• Previous experience in life and health insurance or insurance operations
• Background in telecommunications or office administration
• Some college education
